Kickstart baby’s visual development with this unique multi-format collection of engaging black, white and red images. It can be hung, laid flat, or folded in a triangle shape within baby’s visual range. The different textured fabrics, crinkly pages, and bonus mirror will also aid in baby’s auditory & tactile development and self-awareness.
Research has shown that infants are first able to discern and process high contrast black & white images. Black & white images stimulate the development of the optic nerves and encourage cognitive development without over-stimulation. As infants become better able to distinguish black and white details, they then develop the ability to distinguish red patterns and objects.
The included parent guide highlights how the various formats and 20 images can stimulate baby’s visual & motor development over baby’s first year and beyond. Lay the book flat, either side, during tummy time. When baby is able to sit upright, fold the book into a triangle format and encourage play with the crinkly flip pages.
